LessonLedger is designed to keep your data private and in your control. This policy explains what data we handle and how.

1) Data We Collect

LessonLedger does not collect, transmit, or sell your personal data. All student profiles, lessons, subjects, and settings are stored locally on your device.

2) Device Storage

Your data (students, lessons, subjects, preferences) is stored in the app’s local database on your device. LessonLedger does not upload your data to any server.

3) Backups & Exports

Backups and exports (JSON/PDF/CSV) are created only when you choose to generate or share them. These files are saved locally or shared using the system share sheet, under your control.

4) Biometrics (Face ID)

If enabled, Face ID is used only to unlock LessonLedger on your device. Biometric data is handled by iOS; LessonLedger does not access or store biometric data.

5) Third‑Party Services

LessonLedger does not use analytics, advertising SDKs, or third‑party tracking services.

6) Children’s Privacy

LessonLedger is intended for parents/guardians and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

7) Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy if the app’s behavior changes. Updates will be posted in the app or on our website.
