AquaLog is designed to keep your data private and in your control. This policy explains what data we handle and how.
1) Data We Collect
AquaLog does not collect, transmit, or sell your personal data. All maintenance logs, boat profiles, and settings are stored locally on your device.
2) Device Storage
Your data (boat profiles, maintenance logs, preferences) is stored in the app’s local database on your device. AquaLog does not upload your data to any server.
3) Backups & Exports
Backups and exports (JSON/PDF) are created only when you choose to generate or share them. These files are saved locally or shared using the system share sheet, under your control.
4) Biometrics (Face ID)
If enabled, Face ID is used only to unlock AquaLog on your device. Biometric data is handled by iOS; AquaLog does not access or store biometric data.
5) Third‑Party Services
AquaLog does not use analytics, advertising SDKs, or third‑party tracking services.
6) Children’s Privacy
AquaLog is not designed for children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
7) Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy if the app’s behavior changes. Updates will be posted in the app or on our website.
